The Sustainability & Environmental Services Department is responsible for developing and implementing sustainability programs and practices targeted at city departments, employees, the business community and the general public.

The Environmental Education & Community Outreach Division educates and involves residents of all ages in activities promoting beautification and environmental stewardship through recycling, composting, household chemicals, litter reduction, electronic recycling, water conservation, energy conservation and air quality.
